Stockcar racing is about the racing, contact between the cars is an integral part of the racing, the cars are setup to be as fast as possible, and setup changes are a key part of this.

We regularly race f2 stockcars, and 1300 stockcars.

Bangers are about the crashing, there are people who try and win, and those who just want a good crash, or to smash up the winners.

The racing may look like absolute chaos but to win you need razor sharp reactions, eyes that can view trouble ahead and a little bit of luck.
Bangers are the most popular starter class, but if the rough and tumble of banger racing doesn’t appeal to you then either f2s or 1300s are suitable for beginners too.
In a word NO.

All the cars are the same, you can change spring rates, tyre compounds the gearing, the steering servo and that is about it.

The car as it comes out of the box is capable of winning, All of the top drivers would swap there car for a brand new kit.

Not really, spring rates and tyre compounds are the two main factors.

There are a number of manufacturers of 1300s, all of which can be competitive.

ESC's and servos have a cost cap and there is a choice of 2 motors.

Yes, there are strict rules in place as to what you can and cant do, but in this class if you want to build your own car from scratch then you can.

This is the formula where setup makes the most difference, you will constantly see the f2 drivers trying different tyres, tyre sixes, gearing all trying to squeeze that last bit of performance out of their car.

Throughout the year we will run Banger Themed nights.

The banger theme nights are there to add a bit of fun and variety to the racing.

We don’t hold many, but when we do you need to have the correct shell to race, no other changes to the car are required.
